Samsung LN32A330J1DXZA Won’t turn On: Replaced Power Board

Like so many of you, I have a 32 inch Samsung TV that won’t power on. After doing a lot of research online I learned that one of the main problems with the Samsung TV’s is the power supply board. Therefore I started the process of replacing the blue capacitor in my TV. Then I put the power supply board back in… and NOTHING. I figured that I may have not been able to solder the capacitor right. Therefore I ordered a new one online – a refurbished on. Put in in the TV and I totally expected it to run as new. However, it did not!

There has never been any king of clicking in the TV. The red light is on as it has always been. Blinking? yes..normally like is has done it ever since I have the TV (2 years only).

Now I’m not sure it is the power supply board. maybe someone can suggest something else.

I read somewhere that it may need to be reset after the installation of a new power supply board. Not sure that’s true. if it is, then how do you do it? I guess it is time to save for a new TV— not a Samsung one ((!!!
